Special message to GRANDPA:
It's going to be Physics on the coming Tuesday and I know how much you dont like it. But still please dont give up on it. Then again, if you work hard for it, your result would be brighter. You've wonderful friends around you, so dont ever think that you're a lone wolf. I'm sure they're willing to give out their helping hands. And dont hate me for making this blog. Haha!

Hey, how're you now...?

Have you ever taken someone you loved for granted only to realize too late that you've never properly appreciated that person? Where do I begin..on these threads of life..

Back when I was in Form 2, I met a boy and his sister in the online game Ragnarok. Being very new in the game, we traversed the wide virtual world together. Having fun, sharing memories. Ah, those days, and eventually ( since I had no handphone ) they gave me their address and we began writing letters to each other, pen pals of sorts. Imagine that one day the little girl asked me to be her foster brother. I said alright, and thus began a beautiful memory in the vault that is my heart.

Months passed, we shared memories. I found out that she was suffering from leukemia. My poor godsister. They, living in Kedah, were too far away for me to visit but eventually, we drifted apart, seldom communicating but yet, she would always call me "korkor", her term of endearment for me. Childish it may seem, but I found it cute. She was the first and only girl to tell me those three words, "I love you". Not romantically, but affectionately, as a sister and then when her illness got worse, she had to be sent back to Taiwan. I had no way of contacting her.

All these letters in my room, are but memories to me of this special girl, who taught me how to treasure life as it is, not to take for granted your loved ones. I pray God has healed her, wherever she is right now. I miss those days, rolling by. Every moment not spent with her I regret. Though we never met in person, she has showed me values which are to be cherished and remembered...

Memories of old come to my mind,
In these dusty letters which I find,
Can you see my tears flowing?
Through all these years, pain growing.

Why does life seem so fleeting!
For you dear sister, my lonely heart beating.
Where are you, long gone by.
As I gaze up to this starry sky.

Wishing you were here to share my joy,
Like a little child with a new toy.

A brother I was, but for awhile,

25/10/2008 Long journey

Venue: *Sanur, 45 minutes ride from Kuta
0830 hour- Barong Dance & Kris Dance (18SX)

This is how the script goes like-

The Barong- Play represents an eternal fight between good and evil spirit. Barong (a mythological animal) represents a good spirit and Rangda ( a mythological monster) represents an evil one.

The Dances Start With Music Over Tone

Followed by his friend the monkey, the tiger comes up. Three masked- dancers appear, representing men making palmwine in the forest, whom child is killed by the tiger. The three men get angry and attack the tiger. The tiger is helped by the monkey. During the fight the nose of one of the three men is bitten off.



First Act

Two girl- dancers appear, representing the servants of the Rangda, looking for the servants of Dewi Kunti who are on their way to meet their Patih (Prime minister)



Second Act

Two servants of Dewi Kunti showing. One of the servants of the Rangda changes into a witch and enters both servants to make them angry. They meet their Patih and go together to Dewi Kunti.



Third Act

Dewi Kunti and her son, Sadewa come up, Dewi Kunti has promised the Rangda to sacrifice Sadewa. A witch appears and enters Dewi Kunti. She becomes angry and orders the Patih to bring Sadewa into the forest. The Patih is also entered by a witch so he does not have pity on Sadewa. Sadewa is then taken into a forest and tied
up to a tree.


(The rape STARTS now)

Fourth Act

Unknown by Rangda, Siwa, God appears and gives Sadewa immortality. The Rangda appears, ready to kill Sadewa and eat him up but Sadewa is still alive. Rangda then surrenders and asks Sadewa to redeem herself, Sadewa agrees and kills Rangda. The Rangda goes into heaven.

Fifth Act

One of the servants of the Rangda called Kalika comes before Sadewa and asks to redeem herself too, Sadewa refuses. Kalika gets angry anc changes herself into a boar and fights Sadewa. The boar is defeated. She then changes herself into a garuda (bird) but is defeated again. At last she changes into a Rangda, Sadewa meditates and then he changed himself into Barong. Still Rangda seems to be too powerful and the fight is unended. Followers of Barong appear and help him fight the Rangda.


So this is a 'sunat' ceremony on a boar, this is something new

*Sanur is a town which has 25 5 stars hotels. Every buildings in Bali is relatively short if it's compared to ours. To their believes, a building musnt exceed the height of a coconut tree or 15m to be exact. Above the 15m is considered another level where both spirits and angels live in, while Balineses are taught not to offend and stay low always. To everyone's surprise was the frequent happenings of insomnia which occur to visitors who once stayed over at Bali Hilston ( A 5 stars hotel with a height higher than a coconut tree ). Taking account to the strange happenings, the top storey was lowered down. And it's now called Bali Beach Resort.

Venue: *Kintamani, 1 hour and 45 minutes from Sanur
0930 hour- Hell Fire
1115 hour- Lunch & Sight-seeing

*Kintamani, an active volcano, 1700m. The last eruption was around 1920 and the whole Bali was covered with smokes and ashes for the whole week.

1230 hour: Lunch, Shopping, Snakes & Sight-seeing











*Tanah means earth; Lot means surrounded by sea, consisting of 250 stalls, believe it or not. And there was a huge Tanah Lot temple which only grants entry to the locals to go in and pray. Visitors will just have to stay out and enjoy the scenery.

1930 hour: Seafood





2300 hour: Party again but this time... Things got a bit complicated after a few drips of whiskey into him.
