Hello, guys, I havent write for a very long time now. For the past few months, I have been busy with my thesis, looking for jobs, thinking over of the choices that I made, but yeah, mostly those that what people undergo everyday and on the last Saturday, I had my convocation and now I've graduated. Well, okay, that's that.
Now, if you know me a decade ago, you probably know that I'm one of the many who enjoy playing Pokemon, Digimon, Ragnarok Online, Tamiya mini 4WD, and Beyblade. In fact, I still love them until now. You may ask why I love them so much. To put it in a simple word, they are very much simply fun to play.
This post will be very much about Beyblade. I'm a hardcore Beyblade player and a collector. I simply enjoy assembling them and putting them on battles but I always ended up heartache, not because I lost most of my rounds but when I saw my Beyblades distorted as a result of those fierce battles. They were made in plastics by the way, so you can expect it to have nibs and cracks at every corner of the Beyblade itself or stickers, simply fall off from it. As time went on, my Beyblade spirit had slowly went dormant but that doesnt mean I would lose my interest in them. I collected mainly those Beyblades that were used by the main protagonists- Takao, Max, Rei, and Kai in the anime. Especially Takao's Beyblades, his bit beast is known as Dragoon/ Green Dragon, its name was given after the four celestial creatures in Feng Shui that amused me the most. After all, dragon is often portrayed as a cool and powerful being in any place. To my best knowledge back in 10 years ago, the Dragoon Beyblade series ended in the GT but I only had it until Dragoon G. It was very unfortunate that when Dragoon GT was released when the era of (plastics) Beyblade was coming to an end, and therefore, Dragoon GT wasnt released in Malaysia. And I couldnt do anything about it since I dont possess a credit card to buy it online. I still remembered those days that I would go online just to look at Dragoon GT, you know the Chinese proverb "望梅解渴". Having say that you are probably thinking that the toy that I'm referring to in this post is pointed to Dragoon GT. Well, I'm sorry to say that your guess is wrong. Hahahaa!
After a very long introduction, now, I'm going to do it in a video form. I hope you enjoy it. =D
Best regards,
SY Leong
